Hand made Turkish ceramic bowl with traditional Iznik design. It is decorated with blue and red tulips and carnations. It is hand made and hand painted ceramic bowl from the Kutahya province of Turkey. This style was created by the head artist Kara Memi in the Topkapi Palace during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent in the 16 th century. Garden flowers, spring blossoms, cypresses were most widely used motifs during this period. These designs were created during the reign of Ottoman Empire around the 16th century.
There may be some white reflections on the images because of the camera flash. There is a drilled hole on the reverse for hanging.
